Lindsay
Welcome to Taking the Lead! I’m Lindsay Stamper, owner and head trainer, with a lifelong passion for animals that began as a zookeeper and dolphin trainer.
My journey took a meaningful turn with BooBerry, a reactive pit bull I rehabilitated and later adopted as my demo dog, whose transformation inspired me to launch Taking the Lead. Today, we specialize in helping dogs with behavioral challenges through a balanced training approach, giving owners the tools to build strong, lasting bonds with their pets.

Kaitlyn
I began working with dogs in 2021 at daycare and boarding facilities, which sparked my passion for pursuing a career as a dog trainer. After a few years in those settings, I joined Taking the Lead in July 2024, and I absolutely love it here. I also recently rescued a 3-year-old cattle dog mix named Dobby, and I enjoy taking him on hikes and training him in new tricks. Outside of working with dogs, I love gardening, traveling, and painting.

Ally
I'm from Groveport, Ohio, and I've been a professional dog trainer since 2023. My passion for animals has always been strong, and I grew up actively involved in the Franklin County 4-H program. In my spare time, I enjoy participating in a variety of dog sports, particularly advanced trick training with my personal dog, Willow, and spending time with my horses. When I'm not outdoors, I also enjoy reading and playing video games.

Marco
I was born and raised in Hinckley, Ohio. In my free time, I love roller skating, playing basketball, and cooking with my girlfriend. I've had a passion for dogs my whole life, and this year, I adopted my first dog, Viva, who has helped me grow both as a dog trainer and as a person. We love going on walks together and watching TV at night.

Karla
I was raised in Canal Winchester, and my first introduction to animal training came in the equestrian industry. I enjoy outdoor activities with my boys, Scooby and Bear, and we love hiking, four-wheeling, and swimming together.

Teagan
I grew up in Lancaster, Ohio, and I've always loved animals, knowing from a young age that I wanted to work with them. I attended The Ohio State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Zoology, which I received in May. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going on walks, and occasionally roller skating.
